I always did like fast women!

Well, good for her! She proved a while ago she belonged racing with the fellas. Now she's proven she's every bit as good as them and even better than many.

She conserved fuel better than the rest and won! The other racers had to stop for fuel in the last laps. I think women generally are good at knowing when to fill up. Did you ever here a woman say "Honey, shouldn't you stop for gas?"

She's a pretty good racer too!

patrick seems like the real deal as a driver..after a lot of women getting rides for being women we're slowly seeing some women with the tools to get the job done..sarah fisher was real quick and had good instincts but i dont think had the physical combination to be a consistent performer..before these two.. women drivers were a dangerous PC joke..men and women are different and racing requires sustainable upper body strength..or a style that lets you cheat on the power part with finesse..some men have done the same..patrick seems to be a clever and thoughtful car manager which can overcome physical limitations or a less than great ride..go danica

There are a lot of women atheletes out there that have more strength and endurance than most guys.

Finally an Indy car driver I can REALLY embrace. Yeah, she'd deck me for doing it, but hell, it'd be worth a knot on the head.

Seems to me weighing just 100 pounds yet having good upper body strength and endurance ought to give her an advantage in a long race. A little less fuel to finish the race can mean one less pit stop, as she demonstrated. And a little less overall weight means the same BHP will push her car just a tad faster than one of exactly equal specs. driven by a 200 pound guy. This lady may go on to revolutionize the sport.
