Sports – Tavita Pritchard threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Mark Bradford on a fourth-and-goal with 49 seconds remaining Saturday night, giving the 41-point underdog Cardinal a 24-23 victory over No. 2 Southern California.

My favorite moment in the annals college football also involved Stanford.

1982, Stanford vs. California (Berkeley). Stanford had just compeleted a field goal to go ahead 20-19.

With 4 seconds remaining in the game, they kicked off:

Wish I had access to some L.A. papers to read all the crying, whining and wheedling and finger pointing that always follows a Trojan loss. Have they asked Pete Carroll to resign yet. Did they hang him in effigy?

Do they have schools in Ohio?
