Don't get me wrong. Soccer is a team game. No one, not even Beckham, Owen or Lampard could claim that he is the only one who helped England to win. As much as I want England to play slick, incisive, passing football, the facts are that its best chance of scoring goals comes from Beckham's delivery, be it from crosses or dead-ball kicks.
