Posted by: TechnologyExpert 1 year, 1 month agoUnless Sabean really has lost his mind, and has joined ownership in its desire to see Bonds play left field until he's 50, this means the end of Bonds' tenure as a Giant. Sorry, Barry, no 3,000th hit in a Giants uniform for you; take a shot at the American League (and good luck finding a taker) while we let Sabean run the team as he sees fit.

Bonds' performance during All-Star weekend certainly didn't help his case. Not that Bonds gave a hoot, but Magowan wanted him to participate in the Home Run Derby, thus making an awful lot of little kids happy, and then honor the fans' vote with a respectable showing in the All-Star Game. Instead, he blew off the derby, partied well past midnight Monday, and didn't seem to care if he played Tuesday night or not.
