Unless the Indy D turns it around it'll be NE vs. CHI, cuz they can't stop NE right now.

that's ridiculous!! I for one have NEVER even seen snow before, much less know how to PLAY in it.....The Saints were at a COMPLETE disadvantage because they arent USED to sissy cold weather....if the Bears would have played them in NORMAL weather conditions (the kind the southern boys are used to) they sOoOo would have won....ya know, the Saints have had not only their homes and families TORN from them from Hurricane Katrina, but also a chance of even stepping foot into that Super Bowl Dome..they DESERVE to be in the Super Bowl WAYYYY more than any team in the NFL...its ok, LOUISIANA loves our boys and WE BELIEVE in our Saints...

This is why the regular season is played ... to determine home field advantage for the playoffs. The beauty of pro football is that the games are played regardless of the weather conditions. Da Bears won three more games than the Saints during the regular season and thus earned the right to play the game in the elements of Soldier Field.

Ridiculous, you say??? Dome conditions are totally artificial. THAT'S what's really ridiculous! Football was meant to be played outdoors ... in REAL weather, on REAL grass ... not indoors on some plastic rug!! Deal with it!!!

All acrimony aside, I congratulate the Saints on a remarkable season, and I wish New Orleans a full and speedy recovery from Hurricane Katrina. I've been there ... it's a great city with great food and an excellent party atmosphere. Bon chance, mes amies!

The moment I saw snow begin to fall, I new Da Saints were going to be at a disadvantage. Still they gave it a shot.

Though I am a life long fan of the Saints it was the year of Da Bairss. I am just proud that my team got as far and I am proud of this roster of players that Peyton has put together.

If my Saints have to lose then I dont want it to be in vain. So here is there deal Bears...you guys better kick some Indy butt!! Dont send my team home and then not deliver. Oh...and wait til next year :)

                          Good luck Bears.

then they shouldn't have coughed it up 4 times.

The bears played better on the field, and that's why they deserve it.

and about snow, it's pretty when it falls, but then it lands on the ground and piles up, turns to slush and mush and causes road accidents. Snow is interesting, but you aren't missing much. And many of those saints players came from cold weather colleges and know aabout snow.

Amen...and then some. Our Saints had an excellent season. I am most proud of that team. And I feel for Brees not wearing the gloves. That had to be cold and a clear detriment but thats football and he knows it more than anyone.

Kick some butt Bears. Take it from here and b!tch slap those Colts.

Manning has to beat the Bears in two weeks to get rid of the "loser" label.

I think that he will. The NFC is the minor leagues of pro football. The Colts and Pats played the real SuperBowl tonight

Football is a team game, so was manning a loser last year, sitting on the bench, watching the Steelers hand the ball over and over to Jerome bettis, grinding 7 minutes off the clock, his defense helpless to stop Pittsburgh's running game?

It's not fair to label a guy a loser cause he's saddled with a loser team.

That woulda made walter payton a loser in the 70's, and Dick Butkus a loser in the 60's, and anybody that saw them play knows better.

What I saw was two teams playing in the same weather conditions...the better team won. Da Bears would have still dominated in a "sissy-dome". In two weeks, Ditkaaa 42, The Colts, tree...because Ditka is a merciful Ditka.

true dat. Both teams are significant. The Bears brought the better . Though I am a Saints fan, I love it when God stirs up a with some weather. It aint a real unless there is some mud on that field. Sure it puts our Southern Boys at a disadvantage but our Saints cant toughen up for next years big Super Bowl unless they take on a curve ball or two.

Good Luck Bears! I dont like you guys for beating us silly but I think our Saints did a better job of beating themselves than you guys did. Still...you deserve the Bowl. You guys had a kickin season and I hope it pays off for ya!

The Colts and Patriots game was the first game I watched most of last night, unfortunately I missed the end, great game and fun to not have a dog in the hunt, though I liked the Colts coming back when the Patriots started the usual dancing like monkeys when they were ahead early.

I find it funny how players get paid millions to do a job. then dance like they discovered electricity after they make a tackle or touchdown doing their Job.

Once the Oilers have a shot at the Super Bowl I'll be interested again. Good luck to the teams and fans.

((I find it funny how players get paid millions to do a job. then dance like they discovered electricity after they make a tackle or touchdown doing their Job))

Football is a game dependent on emotion more than most others. [Maybe because of the physical nature and high risk of injury]

Some of the dances are stupid, but I like the creative end zone nonsense, like T,O. drooping the ball into a huge salvation army bucket like spare change, or Chad Johnson pretending the football was a chainsaw and chopping down the goal post. that stuff is funny. Oddly my favorite players, like Walter Payton and barry sanders were very old school tho.

I lost all respect for Bush after his taunt and dance.

How'd 39 - 14 feel Bush? No dance at the end of the game huh? I guess you'll have plenty of time to dance - at home - on the 4th.

As a Saints fan even I was a bit bothered by his little routine but you gotta give the guy a break. He spent a lot of the pre-season donating time and money to rebuild a city that he had never even lived in before. And then in his rookie year he scored a record breaking touchdown in the NFC Championship .

I also hope that he doesnt become one of these high profile, high drama showoffs, but for that moment, I wont judge. He is a rookie, still a kid and he had as exceptional a rookie year as one could have. So...let the kid dance. Hopefully he will remain humble, but at the end of that year, he deserves his little moment.

And yes Luv...that was a killer td. Move ahead Bears. Take it from here. The Colts should be a pushover if you guys bring that Bears A . Good luck.

Celebrating DURING the play, including pointing and taunting, is very tacky. If he woulda done it after the play, they could have flagged Bush for unsportsmanlike.

It definitely was a great TD
