I don't care for Mariotti either, but boy, does Guillen have a short fuse and a long leash.

Long leash is right. This guy gets great results...but he risks being one of those "flash brilliantly and wear out the welcome" guys. Billy Martin, Davey Johnson...get's tiring after a bit.
